Standard Warranty

Electronics Palace Corp offers a minimum 30 day limited warranty on all end-user purchases, unless otherwise specified, from the date of delivery. Any warranty provided by Electronics Palace Corp provides parts replacement or repair service for failure due to defective manufacture during normal service and use. It excludes damages due to improper handling or misuse, or operation in conditions not in conformity with manufacturer specifications. Excluded damages include, but are not limited to: electrical surges, damage from water or humidity, overheating, dust accumulation, electrostatic damage, or other exposure to damaging elements or conditions. For high density port modules (individual parts with 100 or more ports), Electronics Palace Corp reserves the right to repair the defective equipment or pay a proportionate refund for any defective ports, based on the value of the individual part, at its discretion. Buyer is responsible for the cost of shipping a defective item back to Electronics Palace Corp. Replacement gear shipping cost will be paid by Electronics Palace Corp.

 

Technical Support & Other Services

Electronics Palace Corp's sales terms include general technical assistance and advising. Your purchase entitles you to basic technical questions. This does not include specific network design work, configuration assistance, consulting, or programming, unless also contracted. Upon request, we will refer a customer to a pertinent technician when we are not able to help with a solution to a problem. All such technical assistance agreements are between the customer and technician, and Electronics Palace Corp takes no responsibility for any aspect of such agreeement, work, or outcomes. Electronics Palace Corp also has web links to technical and manufacturer resources.

 

Return Policy

The following policies apply to returns not covered by warranty:  For certified pre-owned equipment, there is a 20% restocking fee and the equipment must be in substantially in the same condition as received. For brand new equipment, there is a 15% restocking fee if the unit has not been registered with the manufacturer and if the unit is returned with all components, accessories, and packaging materials without any sign of wear. Otherwise there is a 20% restocking fee on new equipment. In all return cases, the equipment must be in good functional condition and the return period is 30 days (we must be notified within 14 days of delivery).

Electronics Palace Corp Extended Warranty

As an independent reseller of branded OEM and off-brand IT equipment, Electronics Palace Corp will guarantee the function of all New, Electronics Palace Corp Certified, or Factory Refurbished equipment purchased for a period of ninety (90) days, including repair, replacement, credit or refund of items deemed nonfunctional. See Warranty Terms & Conditions below.

 

Warranty Terms & Conditions

Subject to the terms and conditions set forth below, and unless otherwise noted, all New, Electronics Palace Corp Certified or Factory Refurbished products purchased through Electronics Palace Corp, seller warrants to the original purchaser that New, Electronics Palace Corp Certified and Factory Refurbished products will be materially free from defects under normal use and service. The original warranty period begins on the date of the original invoice of the purchased product.

 

This warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship encountered in normal, reasonable use of the product during the warranty period. This warranty does not apply:

  1. to normal wear and tear;
  2. if the product has been mistreated or mishandled;
  3. if the product has been improperly installed or configured;
  4. if the product has been has been subject to an accident;
  5. if the product has been has been subject to lightning, power surges, incorrect electrical voltage, or other electrical stress;
  6. if the product has been subject to an act of God; or,
  7. if the product has been modified in any way.

 

If a product covered by this warranty is claimed to be defective, the customer must follow the warranty return policy described below. Upon receipt of returned products, Electronics Palace Corp at its sole discretion will either choose to repair, replace, issue a credit to the customer’s account or issue a refund. The warranty period for the repaired or replaced product shall terminate upon the termination date of the original warranty period of the defective product.

 

Unless otherwise stated, this warranty only covers New, Electronics Palace Corp Certified and Factory Refurbished products. See exceptions below for New Open Box and "As Is" purchases. Unless otherwise indicated, there are no OEM or other partner manufacturer warranties supplied. For any clarification please contact your sales representative.

 

This warranty applies to purchases made by the "end-user" of the equipment and is non-transferrable. For purchases made by equipment resellers or for the purpose of resale, the warranty period will be a maximum of 90 days.

 

New Open Box Warranty Terms

Products sold in New Open Box condition will also include the above stated ninety (30) day warranty with the following exception: if product replacement is the chosen method for resolution of a warranty issue, Electronics Palace Corp may, at its discretion, choose to replace a New Open Box product with a similar product in Electronics Palace Corp Certified or Refurbished condition.

 

"As Is" Warranty Terms

Equipment sold in "as is" condition is excluded from the above warranties. Specific warranty details, if any, will be provided in the product description, however some equipment available "as is" will not be warranted by Electronics Palace Corp. As such, if no warranty information is provided for equipment sold "as is," that equipment will not be eligible for warranty claims, return or service.

 

DISCLAIMERS

THERE ARE NO EXPRESS WARRANTIES OTHER THAN THOSE LISTED OR DESCRIBED ABOVE. ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, SHALL BE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE PERIOD OF TIME SET FORTH ABOVE. Electronics Palace Corp’S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY AND ALL LOSSES AND DAMAGES RESULTING FROM ANY CAUSE WHATSOEVER INCLUDING  Electronics Palace Corp’S NEGLIGENCE, ALLEGED DAMAGE, OR DEFECTIVE GOODS, WHETHER SUCH DEFECTS ARE DISCOVERABLE OR LATENT, SHALL IN NO EVENT EXCEED THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PRODUCT.  Electronics Palace Corp SHALL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR LOSS OF USE, INFORMATION OR DATA INCLUDING THAT IS CONTAINED IN OR STORED ON ANY DEVICE RETURNED TO  Electronics Palace Corp, WORK STOPPAGE, PRODUCT FAILURE OR MALFUNCTION, FAILURE OF OTHER EQUIPMENT OR PRODUCT PROGRAMS TO WHICH THE PRODUCT IS CONNECTED, COMMERCIAL LOSS, LOST REVENUE OR LOST PROFITS, LOSS OF GOODWILL, LOSS OF REPUTATION, LOSS OF, DAMAGE TO, OR CORRUPTION OF INFORMATION, DATA SOFTWARE OR APPLICATIONS (INCLUDING ANY COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH RECOVERING, PROGRAMMING, OR REPRODUCING ANY INFORMATION, DATA SOFTWARE, OR APPLICATIONS STORED ON OR USED WITH  Electronics Palace Corp PRODUCTS, OR ANY FAILURE TO MAINTAIN THE CONFIDENTIALITY OF ANY INFORMATION OR DATA STORED ON THE PRODUCTS), OR OTHER INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. NO ORAL OR WRITTEN REPRESENTATIONS MADE BY  Electronics Palace Corp OR ANY SELLER, RESELLER OR DISTRIBUTOR OF THE PRODUCT, INCLUDING EMPLOYEES AND AGENTS THEREOF, SHALL CREATE ANY ADDITIONAL WARANTY OBLIGATIONS, INCREASE THE SCOPE, OR OTHERWISE MODIFY IN ANY MANNER THE TERMS OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW,  Electronics Palace Corp DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE OPERATION OF ANY PRODUCTS OR SOFTWARE COVERED UNDER THIS LIMITED WARRANTY WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS, WORK IN COMBINATION WITH ANY HARDWARE OR SOFTWARE APPLICATIONS OR THIRD PARTY SERVICES, BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR WITHOUT RISK TO, OR LOSS OF, ANY INFORMATION, DATA, SOFTWARE OR APPLICATIONS CONTAINED THEREIN, OR THAT DEFECTS IN THE PRODUCTS OR SOFTWARE WILL BE CORRECTED. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS OR THE EXCLUSION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. In the event that any term or provision contained in this limited warranty is found to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, then such provision shall be deemed modified to the extent necessary to make such provision enforceable by such court, taking into account the intent of the parties. The invalidity in whole or in part of any portion of this limited warranty shall not impair or affect the validity or enforceability.

 

The policies documented herein are subject to change, and are effective as of the date of posting.

 

Warranty Return Policy

If a product covered by this limited warranty is claimed to be defective, the end-user customer must request a Return Material Authorization ("RMA") in accordance with the Returns Procedures set forth below. An RMA request will be approved only if the product is still within the warranty period and the customer follows the Returns Procedures described below.

 

Warranties, Software, Key Codes, Service Agreements and Special Order Items are not eligible for warranty return. Please contact your sales representative if you have any questions about product eligibility for warranty return.

 

Non-Defective Products Return Policy

If a customer wishes to return a non-defective product, the customer must request an RMA in accordance with the Returns Procedure below. Non-defective products may be returned within 14 days from the date of the original invoice only with an approved RMA request.

 

For all RMA requests for non-defective products, other than an error made by Electronics Palace Corp, a restocking fee of 20% will be charged to the customer. Except in the case of an error made by Electronics Palace Corp, the customer accepts responsibility for the cost of shipping (both original and return shipment).

 

Customers must return the product in the same condition and packaged in the same manner in which it was delivered from Electronics Palace Corp. If a product has a manufacturer seal, and the manufacturer seal is broken, the product is not eligible for return.

 

Warranties, Software, Key Codes, Service Agreements and Special Order Items are not eligible for return. Please contact your sales representative if you have any questions about product eligibility for return.

 

Returns Procedures

To request a Return Material Authorization (RMA), please do the following:

If you would like to return or exchange your Product please go through the following steps.

 

  1. Login To Your Account.
  2. Then Go To View the orders I have made.
  3. Find the order for which products you would like to return or exchange and click VIEW.
  4. Next to the product line item, you will see a like that Says RETURN PRODUCT.
  5. Click on it, and proceed from there to complete the RMA Form.

 

RMA products must be received by Electronics Palace Corp within 14 calendar days from the date the RMA is issued. If an RMA item is received more than 14 calendar days after the date the RMA was issued, it will not be accepted and will not be eligible for repair, replacement, credit or refund.

 

Return Shipping Instructions

All equipment must be returned in the same packaging condition in which it was originally delivered and include all accessory items (i.e. power supply, cables, line cards, documentation, etc.). Missing accessories or damaged equipment resulting from substandard packaging will be charged to the customer.

 

All product returns must have the RMA number listed on the return packing slip or external packaging. Please do not write the RMA number on the actual product box.
